Hey there!!

My name is Vanessa and welcome to my blog!

By day I work as a sous chef at an arena here in Uptown Charlotte, by night I am a blogger.

A few fun facts about me:

-I was born and raised in New Jersey.

-Although the show “Jersey Shore” gives us locals a bad name, I will forever be addicted to trashy reality shows.

-I’m a coffee addict.

-I have to have a piece of chocolate everyday, preferably dark.

-I went to culinary school.

-I’m a Mac convert.

-I love a good movie.  I have a growing collection of probably 200 or so.  It’s scary.

-I love to experiment in the kitchen.

-I work crazy, long hours and I secretly love it. I love the adrenaline rush you get during a busy service.

-I desperately want to travel, but unfortunately don’t have the funds to do so.

-I love farmer’s markets.

-I live in flip flops in the summer and Ugg boots in the winter. I have an obscene amount of both.

My two current passions in life are food and photography. I am still in an amateur stage of photography but hope to continue learning about it.  I’ve been in the culinary world professionally for around 5 or 6 years now.  So I am still learning all that there is to learn about food as well.  I am lucky that two of my passions go hand in hand.  I take a lot of pictures of my food and creations whether it’s at work or at home.

Life Undeveloped is the name of the blog.  Meaning my life is still in its developing stages.  Through this blog I’d like everyone to develop along with me as I go through the next stages in my life.  I have no idea where I’ll end up, but isn’t that the fun of it?  I want to express myself through food, pictures and writing and hope you will all enjoy it with me on this journey we call L i f e!!
